There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in NBL. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Nuggets defeated Sharks in Dunedin 76-68. American guard Jaquori McLaughlin (193-1998, college: UCSB, agency: Pensack Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international power forward Samuel Timmins (211-1997, college: Washington) contributed with 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Nuggets' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Jeremy Kendle (186-1988, college: Bellarmine) replied with 27 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for Sharks. Sharks will play next round against strong Huskies trying to get back on the winning streak. Nuggets will try to continue on its current victory against Airs in New Plymouth.
Hawks recorded a loss in Tamatea. Hosts were edged by Airs 95-93. American Armon Fletcher (196-1995, college: SIU) scored 21 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Anzac Rissetto chipped in 17 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. The former international forward Hyrum Harris (198-1996, college: Umpqua CC) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Airs will play against Nuggets in Dunedin in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Hawks will play at home against Rams and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Stoke was also quite interesting. Bulls played at the court of Giants. Bulls defeated Giants 95-84 on Saturday. Tyrell Harrison notched a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks to lead the effort. Even 34 points (!!!) (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) by Avery Woodson did not help to save the game for Giants. Giants' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Bulls will meet at home Rams in the next round. Giants will play against Jets in Palmerston North and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 2: Bulls beat Saints on the road 92-86. Tuatara destroyed Airs on its own court 80-55. Jets managed to outperform Rams in Palmerston North 90-86.
